TheCauchy problem for multidimensional first order quasilinear hyperbolic systems withrelaxation time is considered. This system outlines a large number of physicalmodels, such as Euler equations with damping terms, Euler-Maxwell equations andM1 model of radiation transfer theory. The asymptotic limit of the system isstudied when the relaxation time tends to zero.
个人简介:
ProfessorPeng Yuejun is currently teaching at the University of Clermont-Ovonne, France.His research work involves weak entropy solutions of conservation lawequations, smooth solutions of Quasilinear Hyperbolic equations, asymptoticlimits of hydrodynamic models in ionic and semiconductor sciences, and analysisof initial and boundary layers of partial differential equations. Sixty SCIpapers have been published in Annales IHP Analyse Non Line aire, J. Math. PuresAppl., SIAM J. Math. Anal., J. Diff. Equations, Comm. Part. Diff. Equations andother world-class journals. He is the author of Some Problems on NonlinearHyperbolic Equations and Applications, published by World Scientific PublishingCompany.
