In any dimension $N\geq1$ and for given mass $m>0$, we revisit a class of nonlinear Schrodinger equation with an $L^2$ constraint. Assuming only that the nonlinearity is continuous and satisfies weak mass supercritical conditions, we show the existence of ground states and reveal the basic behavior of the ground state energy as the mass varies. In particular, to overcome the compactness issue when looking for ground states, we develop robust arguments which we believe will also allow treating other $L^2$ constrained problems in general mass supercritical settings. If time allows, results on radial and nonradial normalized solutions will be given.This talk is based on a joint work with Professor Louis Jeanjean (UBFC, France)

卢胜森,2020年6月博士毕业于天津大学应用数学中心,现为北京大学博士后。研究方向为非线性分析和椭圆型偏微分方程,主持博士后基金一项,主要成果发表在CVPDE、Nonlinearity等国际期刊上。
